also, if you get some residue plastic on the drill or needle, use a candle to burn it and quickly remove with paper towel. it sounds like there’s been success, but I’m still scared to use my boyfriend’s dremel… with the current cross stitch trend I’ve seen projects using paint to simulate the effect. I love, love, love the sunnies but I think I was more excited to use the dremel tool for the first time. I know it won’t give such a high end/amazing outcome, but will still be unique (and I will continue to avoid power tools) thanks for the inspiration!
