Like I’ve said this is super hydrating and flattering (my skin tone ranges from pale to lightly tanned depending on time of year) and the colour is subtle whilst still being obvious you have a lipstick on. Unlike most other LQ lipsticks, which come in brushed-metal tubes, it was made of solid black plastic with a lacy design on the cap. The blue shimmer is definitely a gimmick (it's supposed to make your teeth look whiter, or something) but they are among my favorite lipsticks.

She has an obsession with designer handbags, Liberty prints, 1960s fashion, and owns more shoes than she’s willing to admit. Lipstick Queen’s products are like Kraft macaroni and cheese served in an 18th-century porcelain dish: there’s a real incongruity between the exquisite packaging and the uninspiring lipstick. Since they react with your pH levels, they do not have a traditional matte or satin finish; they look more like a very light lip balm when applied. Its Hello Sailor and Frog Prince lip and cheek products have developed a cult following since their launches, and for good reason: they give a subtle hint of color and look good on all skin tones.I have Frog Prince which goes a warm, deep rose-pink on me but I wanted something a bit more summery, so decided to try Morning Sunshine and it’s a perfect light pretty pink with a hint of peach in it. It’s awkward posting selfies, let alone with zero filter, but I really want you to be able to see the true colors so you can decide if you want to give them a try!

Get heads turning with Frog Prince, a remarkable emerald green lipstick that transforms into magical rosebud upon contact with the lips. If they wanted to become trendier, they could easily have expanded the Saint and Sinner lines to include more unusual colors; I don't know why they decided to add a bunch of weird new categories instead. This is the perfect entry product for anyone curious about berry lipstick but not quite ready for a matte, full-coverage formula. Thus, when the brand announced it would be adding three more shades to their color-changing arsenal, I knew I had to test them out. I’m a self-proclaimed tinted lip balm addict, and it didn’t take long for this to replace all my previous favorites!I've heard good things about Medieval and Jean Queen, but I'm not really into sheer lipsticks (never mind that I have at least half a dozen, haha). The flat top and colour scheme reminded me of a Flintstones Push Up popsicle, and honestly, the product kind of made me look like I'd just eaten one.

My least favorite of all the shades I’ve tried, but that’s personal preference as I tend to gravitate towards corals and pinks moreso than berry hues. There does seem to be a stark divide between LQ's original concept (classic colors in nice formulas) and its current one. Don't be fooled by the deep green hue of this semi-sheer lipstick - the green reacts with the warmth of your lips turning them an intense, fairy tale rose. If you're going for a more subtle look, one swipe of berry lipstick adds the sheerest purple tint to your lips.

No two pairs of lips will look the same as it adapts according to your pH and natural coloring, appearing entirely different yet beautifully flattering on everyone.
